Evangelism Quarter

Hello all my family and friends!
I wanted to wait to write this update until this season of our base was completed so I could wrap it up nicely in one update :)
We got back from outreach at the beginning of July and since then we have been in a "community outreach" focus while we don't have students on base. For three months, July-September we have been outpouring onto the community of Queenstown as much as we possibly could while also strengthening and building our base physically and spiritually.
Community outreach:
We had the entire day Tuesday and Friday to go into town and chat with the people of Queenstown, making friends, and strengthening them by telling them about the good news of Jesus Christ. We had many good conversations, many good prayers, many spirits lifted from the good news.

I also started to volunteer at "The Happiness House". The Happiness House is a community space with an affordable thrift store, free tea, coffee, free community events such as cooking and knitting classes to bring the community of Queenstown together. Another program we provide at the Happiness House is the free food for families that need the extra support. I started volunteering there to pour back into the community practically and I love my Happiness House family :)

Our base also gave out free coffee on Tuesdays and Fridays, so people came in, got free coffee, had good conversations, and learned about the loving kindness of Jesus.
On Friday we also gave out free sausages and chai to party goers in Queenstown, making sure they were cared for and knew they were loved by Jesus.
Base beautification:

Our base has also given us time to restore, beautify, and steward the places where we live and work. We have spent time deep cleaning, organizing, and caring for the spaces the Lord has gifted us. I have also had the opportunity to be part of the hospitality team.

Through this, I helped prepare for people coming onto base by making welcome cards, cleaning and preparing rooms, creating door tags with the names of those staying in each room, and helping make the base feel welcoming and cared for.
Whats Next:

Thank you for being apart of this journey; it's so much more fun to share what God is doing in my life with people that I love than just keeping it to myself.
This coming October I'll be staffing the 2026 DTS!
I am SO excited to staff another DTS and partner with what God wants to do in these students lives. I will go back to posting updates monthly next one at the end of October. Thank you for all your love and support, blessings <3
